The tree is very large and its roots are causing significant damage to the surrounding area. The roots have lifted my mother?s driveway as well as the driveways of both neighbouring properties, creating substantial raised surfaces that present a serious trip hazard. We are extremely concerned that the condition of the tree may worsen and that it could fail, causing injury to members of the public or significant damage to nearby properties.
